He had only been in it for four months after being made redundant from a previous job, but it was an extremely stressfull environment in which to work, which did no good to his health at all.
He's been out of work for seven weeks
However, his health is now very much improved and whilst he has this condition for the rest of his life, he now has it under control with medication.
But the best bit of news is that today he was offered the job he has been hoping for. After an initial interview two weeks ago, he had to wait until the closing date of applications for the vacancies before hearing if the job was his or not
He starts next Monday and I can hardly wait.
Seeing him sitting around the house perving on here all day was doing my head in
Not the least of which meant that when I get home from work each evening, he hasn't even managed to drag himself away long enough to put the kettle on
So just for Jon I would like to say "Thank Christ you're going back to work"
