Just To Explain....

Hey Everyone.....I just wanted to explain something to everyone.....
I've cancelled on a few events now.....ie: the NW Munch, the London Munch and the Notts Munch......and there are various reasons for this.....
The main one is that I don't have much money at the moment as I'm a student....but the thing is that I DO have the potential to earn but it depends on how many hours I do and with my studying I can't guarantee to have the money......
So I sign up for things thinking that it's not a problem to earn the money but then I have a busy week at the hospital and I can't do many hours on the phone and then I have to cancel......there's nothing that I can do about it.....but I didn't want everyone to think that I'm a complete timewaster and never turn up to things......
Things are getting better for me, and a little less hectic so I shouldn't have to cancel on things in the future.....so to all those that I've cancelled on (that are running the Munches) I publicly apologise and hope to buy you a beer to make up for it when I finally meet you all.....

Awwww thanks.....I just didn't want people to start thinking I'm a complete timewaster.....I'm not, just have a few problems in the money department right now.....but it IS getting better for me......so all should be good for the future...

I wouldn't worry Helen... when people go to Munches, they are normally too busy getting drunk and flirting to think about people who aren't there! Sad but true.
And I often find myself in the same boat as you... skint. In particular with regard to cabs - London is big city and often a cab home will cost me Â£30, which I can't afford.

((((((((Helen))))))) Same boat here too. We haven`t had to cancel, but we have had to turn down too many invitations :cry:
Maybe things will settle down for us at the same time, then we can team up and make one hell of a comeback!

I don't do night buses... too much vomit and too many pissheads starting fights. I want to explore the dark side of London, but not the cheap side. So it's taxis once in a blue moon, hopefully sharing with someone rich and sexy.

i'm quite sure noone thinks that of you, and no explanations are necessary! being completely skint does not a good swinger make, as i've found to my cost! t'is rubbish indeed! but fortunately some people are quite understanding of the little problem re: cashflow, so all well and good! and very fortunately i've had very gratefully received assistance re: travel to munches and parties etc too, else i wouldn't have enjoyed myself nearly so much as i have done of late!

I don't think anyone here thinks of you as a time-waster - not in the least! Vix & I were up in the air about the Notts Munch until about a week ago, but we'd finally pulled it together. Sorry we won't have the opportuinty to meet you there, but so glad to hear that things are getting better for you...

Helen, don't worry about the munch thing. With so many things happening over the next few weeks I'm sure there are loads of people in the same boat. Haven't heard anything from you to say you have to cancel for my party so am assuming you'll still be there biggrin

Hi Helen,
I'd just like to echo what the others have already said. There's no real need to apologise as everyone here is aware that life being as it is for all of us, there are valid reason's why plans change and nobody would accuse you of timewasting so don't let yourself feel bad about this and with all the get-togethers happening over the next few months, we can look forward to meeting you at one of those.

If it wasn't for people helping me out with lifts to venues and things, I don't think i could manage either. Thats what makes the site and the lifestyle just soooo great. Everyone really IS looking out for each other.
Your time will come when you can be a Munch/Party addict. Just think of the mega snoggin' you gonna get !!!! wink
