Kicking back winks...

I have set my profile to kick back winks and send an automated response on receipt of a wink, as follows :

we've had that a few times..people replying to us saying thanks for your message...i'm sitting thinking we haven't sent you a message...then i realise they've sent us a wink and got the automatic response rolleyes

and they are never from people we are looking for....or even in the same county.... lol

just incase some people don't no how to stop the winks...
go to my settings.....scroll down to my mail settings...then there's 2 messages you can select that people get when they send you a wink.......
you can also block certain users from messaging you......

I find just saying it was an automated response that I have opted for because I find receiving winks quite pointless and sometimes irritating, usually gets the point across. lol

I don't have the automated response thingy on for winks. I just delete them there and then. I will always reply to people who send me a pm where they've thought up the words for themselves though!

Yep, have to agree with you and HLB on this. If there was some way that the person knew it was an automated response I would probably go for that option.
AS HLB said, it was raised a while ago, are we no further forward with this? :dunno:
