Ha! Not what you thought it was gonna be about! :giggle:
Labels in underwear. I'm a chopper-offer!
I've seen a number of photographs lately with a lovely bum in nice knickers but you can see the label through the material. It totally ruins it for me. The sexiness that was once there is spoiled by that little piece of white fabric that shows through a lovely pair of black lace knickers.
I chop labels out almost everything... and I have this totally unstoppable urge to go up to random strangers and tuck their labels, mostly on jumpers rather than undies right enough... but I hate seeing labels sticking up. redface
I know I'm a bit CDO but does anyone else share this urge? :silly:
Do you chop them off? If not, can you start please?
*twitches*

I chop most of (although I just realised the one on the sussy belt was showing), In my defence it was new redface
What about the plastic hanging hoops on tops and trousers/skirts? how annoying are they if you don't chop em off mad
Actually it wasn't you... but I'll go look now you've said that!! :giggle:
...and if they are printed on the underwear, like some of my underwear are?
The last thong I saw had a label which was doing more to protect the ladies modesty than the gusset!

Well there's no-one in my house when I get dressed in the morning who says I can't so yeah! :giggle:
hang on if you chop the labels off ,how do you know what to set the washing machine at when washing them as the washing instructions are on the labels.
or am i just being thick.
Underwear labels on skimpy knickers are a pain.
The label itself is unsightly at best and at worse fades during the laundry cycles proving that the garment in question is well past its "throw away by" date.
They are difficult to remove such that no trace remains without damaging the garment.
If they are removed inexpertly the stub remains and gives the impression that one purchases such items fromm shady black market outlets or market stalls.
The only solution I can offer is to invest in hand made undies that carry no label or not to care.

Totally agree, all labels off undies, tops, trousers, etc. plus I have to cut off those ribbon loops in the shoulder seams some shops have on shirts to stop them falling off the hanger. I have dozens of bits of multicoloured ribbon in my sewing box, too short to be used for anything but too long to just throw away rolleyes Has anyone got any ideas?
Regarding the washing - I wash all my 'special' undies by hand, if I didn't D would chuck them in the washer with his jeans :x
my girlies knickers have C & A on the label.......it's the only way she knows what way around to wear them wink
