hi folks just to let you all know at lunchtime on the 11th may mrs dpg has gone into slow labour hind waters have broken but the fore waters havent which is not allowing babies head to engage properley they dont want to pop the fore water bag just yet as there is a risk the cord will be delivered first so they started inducing her at 6pm but after 7 hours of nothing they have put her back on the ward and sent me home so we can both get some sleep
the thing is i cant sleep as the kids are at their nans and the house feels awful without any one in it :upset:
anyway thats enough of me feeling down in the dumps cos the hospital wont let me stay with her she is doing fine at the mo just got to play the waiting game so fingers crossed hopefully later today there will be a babies arrived post :grin: :grin:

well would you adam and eve it literally 5 mins after i posted this i get a call from the hospital telling me to get down there asap got there at 6 minutes after she was born :upset: the only one ive missed being born :upset:
anyway tilley came in at 4lb 14oz and was 3 weeks prem but is doing fine as is mrs dpg hosp keeping tilley in until she has gained a little more weight and said hopefully tuesday both mum and baby can come home

thank you all for your well wishes trust me its been a long hard slog to get here (thats my opinion) wont go into what mrs dpg thinks :cry: :cry: shes just glad shes out :bounce:
i printed off all your comments and took them so mrs dpg can see i think she was a little overwhelmed and sends big to you all she also says mrs hisandhers as you were the first aunty here you have got the first babysitting duty for tuesday night so when she gets out she can go for a stiff drink and mrs nwc can do weds day so she can recover from alcohol infliction (her words) :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

hi everyone baby and me were released from hospital on tuesday afternoon :bounce: :bounce:
we are both fine just got to keep an eye on her weight would just like to say a great big thank you to all of you for the well wishes i must admit when mr dpg printed off your comments and brought them into hospital for me to read i was somewhat overwhelmed.
its great to be a part of such a caring and friendly community (sh cafe) and its a pity i cant thank you all in person (one day maybe) :mrgreen:
