Ladies - Help needed. | Swinging Heaven

I need some advice here ladies - sorry guys no disrepect.
I am off for my first smear test since we started swinging this week, how do you explain the more than one sexual partner???????
Its not that I am emberassed by my lifestyle but I dont particu;arly want it on my records.
Any advice gratefully recieved!!!!!!!!!!!

Why explain anything?As far as i can remeber you arnt going to be asked about the number of partners or indeed any quetions!! All the want is to put the swab in grab the cell and your done!!

I don't think you need to tell them, tbh. The test will be the same anyway.
If you do want to tell them, then in no way feel like you have to explain yourself!
It's your body, your life, your sexual health. You don't have to justify yourself to anyone.

Inquire why they are asking. Perhaps they are interested?? Just kidding, if you want to asnwer, just say you have had a couple of partners. In all honesty, I think most GPs have heard and seen it all.

Yeah - no need to be embarressed - I was there last month and I'm sure they only ask - are you sexually active? No other details.
The only reason I was embarressed when I went was because the week before I'd had to go with some fairly serious Veet burns rolleyes

(stupid cow I am) - but all the nurse said was "I see your nappy rash has cleared up nicely" redface

The Smear Taker might ask if you've been sexually active but they do not wish to know the details... If you've never had sex then the likely hood of getting cervical cancer is next to zero... details can be found on the excellent NHS Cancer Screening website...

If they ask just tell them you only take it up the arse, that should suitably shut them up! rotflmao

Seriously, I don't think they ask questions like that, I don't think it makes any difference to their medical procedures.

Can confirm ... had one very recently and they ask if you are sexually active .. nothing else.... unlike when i went for a coil fit and they asked me if I was sexually active and if there was any reason to suspect infection ie from other partners .... if the ground could have swallowed me up I wish it had .. I was scarlet redface

. Makes it even worse when they know your hubby has had the snip!!!!!! so hardly needed for contraception hehehe.
Thankful that they also knew it was for a medical problem ... otherwise I would have died of embarassment.

yeah.. going for your smear is no problem,, they dont want to know anything.
going for your regular sexual health check is a TOTALLY diferent story!!!!!!!!!!!! :twisted:
