Having been told that I have got borderline high blood pressure during a medical check up recently, I have joined a gym to help in reducing said blood pressure.
Obviously, this will have the added bonus of increasing my :hunk: buffness :hunk: level a fair bit.
My question to the ladies here is:
Is buffness level an important factor to you?
ooohhhh. like a shiny helmet !!!!!!!!!
I think it means he will be able to slay vampires?
Actually High blood pressure can be a killer! usually caused by salt intake. I would look at it mate, and if you are not careful too much gym work will kill you if not the polishing? if your gonna talk tecnical aka illness, tell us more for us thickies?? Buffness...??? DUNNO?
Can we all be buffs?
Eh?
Now I AM confused!
Oh right. I've never been good with jokes
But I still don't know what buff means!
Right. Let's clear this up once and for all.....
Buff: to polish.
This word was then bastardised into the bodybuilding language as a term for the final preperation before a contest. A final polish before the show.
Now if someone's "buff" it usually means they have a well-defined build.
HTH
i still like the shiney penis head theory myself
May I add my twopennyworth, Flapjackboy? As a result of your reading of being on the borderline of high blood pressure, you might have been advised to lose a bit of weight. Going to a gym is not necessarily the best remedy for this - as others have said, the strain of suddenly starting a programme of vigorous exercise is likely to do more harm than good. Cutting down on fatty foods would help, and also cutting down generally on the amount of food you eat, if you eat too much. The practice nurse at the surgery will be able to give you more precise advice on nutrition. Have your blood pressure checked regularly and if it does not get lower soon the doctor may put you on medication to help keep it down, as it is dangerous to have constant high blood pressure. Good luck!
Mike.
Most illuminating, this explanation of what "buff" now means. Does this mean that "buff orpingtons" are fit chicks from west Kent?
Mike.
Thanks for all the replies, peeps.
I'm touched that you're all concerned with my health and wellbeing. (no, really, I am.)
The guy that runs the gym is a great guy and hasn't put me on anything too strenuous, so I should be OK as far as that's concerned. I have a couple more BP tests set up over the next fortnight, so I shall have a clearer picture of things then. In the meantime, I'm going to cut down on my caffiene, change my diet some more, switch to drinking green tea and hope that my PC behaves itself for a while. (Well, it should do, I nuked & paved it last week, so it should be good for another 6 months or so.)
I love a well groomed man who looks after his body.
Yummy yummy, bring him on xxxxx
