I c my post daint work then :cry: , only got 2 stay
on for 2hrs, was trying desperatly 2 beat minxs long
stayer.
Yes minx iv seen that film, thought it was ok, but

I love Thistles in my garden, they attractthe Bees, i only have 2 atm, and want sum more,

Got loads of em growing where I work tho... :lol:
I`ve planted up lots of marrows and pumpkins and stuff on the manure heaps....the flowers seems to be keeping the bees interested :lol:
What on earth do the marrows and pumpkins taste like :shock: I know the manure doesn't smell once it's rotted btw

Well i gora tell u all this, even if u think im a
total nutter
We have had a lot of large Cabbage White butterflys
in our garden, and we dont grow any veg, sooooooooo
we put a cabbage we bought from the town on top of
the little cave my daughter and i built (for any
creatures that wana go live in there) so that the
Butterflys could lay their eggs on it if they wanted..... and they have
Next spring we are gona grow a few for them to
lay their eggs on. :happy:

If you want to grow something pretty that the cabbage white butterflies will lay eggs on, try planting nasturtiums somewhere. Just a warning though, keep them in a container or else they'll take over your garden. You can use the nasturtium flowers in salads, and the seeds taste very much like capers.
