My 37th birthday is fast approaching and I was thinking yesterday that there are a lot of things that I'd like to learn to do. So as one of them is to learn to play guitar I went out and got one and some tutorial dvd's. When I got home I got to thinking "is this how mid-life crises start?". (Well at least I didn't come home with a Harley!!) There are a whole bunch of other things on my list but one step at a time. My question is what are the things that others would like to learn/try but haven't had a go at due to things like work,children,partying or life have gotten in the way??
Would love to spend a year cruising around the indonesian islands, the java sea and equitorial island chains. would love to explore both above and below tha water as well as some of the islands themselves.
Pete you just gave me another idea, I'd love to be stranded on a desert island and see how long I could survive before wussing out!! (right added to list!) cheers mate!

I always wanted to0 be a holiday rep, no not due to Ibiza uncoverd way before that I had the chance but never took it a season or 2 would have done nicely. Mr Tweeky

my 37th birthday is also approaching and my ambition is to run and complete the great north run befor i am 40 better get feckin started then, considering i cant run to the end of the street actually thinking about it, if i start now i might have finished the 13 miles by the time i'm 40

I'm 36 also...coincidence or something more? I'd read and been telling my hubby since my 20's that women reach their sexual peak at 36. I'm busy proving it to him As for the original post topic, I've got my motorbike licence and the sports bike to go with it, so that ambition is sorted. This site is helping fulfil another and the only remaining one is travel, travel, travel. Russia is still a big ambition, together with China, but we keep copping out and going for the easy options.

born in the general, lived..the headland, middleton road, slater street, raby road moved away when I was 12 , lived in London for 12 years moved back up North five years ago.

He just likes to run behind and watch ladies bottoms! Have a thats where I found my training schedule for my first 5k last year. It took me from not being able 2 run 100 yards to the 5k in exactly 30mins. we would love to do the great north run......meantime hoping to do a 10k this year. In need of a personal trainer though.......WTF.....Redpantherman........come and watch my ass wiggle will ya! Seriously, just got in from a 20 min run.....feel so much better than when I left the house!
Well, so far I have added to my list... get my eyes lasered (short sighted) get rid of "practical car" and get something I actually like driving learn to tie knots oh and "lick a witch" (suitably back on topic EC??? (Earthchild....could always PM if you want to continue going off at a tangent )
