:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce: finally managed to register, now all i need is for them to pick out my name in the ballot for the 18,000 tickets @ £125 each
The son of John Bonham(sp?). John B was the Led Zep drummer who died. That was why they split up. I saw them at Knebworth in 1979. They were fantastic!!!
How much a ticket!!!! so two tickets, drinks, a meal out; thats one expensive night out!! Not knocking the music but what happened to the days when our paper round money could take us to see a good band. OK so I'm old!

the tickets are £125 each and ballot only, there are NO I repeat NO hotel and meal packages involved so dont try to buy through them as they are fake, and any that turn up on an auction site will be removed. its is an expensive night true, Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman and Paolo Nutini are also playing.
What I wouldn't give for a ticket to this !! If anyone gets a ticket and would like to swap I have a partner three kids a dog and anything else in my life you want. Desperate Lost
Quote by Geordiecpl2001 Go for the alternative...... LEZ ZEPPELIN Four Lesbians from USA who play LED ZEP music. Lot cheaper, that who we're going to see. John
ffs,how good is their version of Whole Lotta Love ........and the fact they're as fit as fuck has nothing to do with it fil
ffs,how good is their version of Whole Lotta Love ........and the fact they're as fit as fuck has nothing to do with it fil Well if you listen to thier version on "myspace" you'll be impressed......and at the "moaning" bit, it sounds like she's having a good orgasm. John
Registered for a ticket this afternoon. According to Harvey Goldsmith, the promoter, Zep will be doing a "full set". Whether that'll be a 3 hour+ marathon like they played at their peak, remains to be seen.

I very briefly considered trying to register for a ticket to this, but to be honest no band (not even Led Zep) is worth £125 a ticket, even for a one-off performance. I'll probably spend the evening at home with a couple of good bootlegs, that way I'm guaranteed a great concert.

Whats the point of working your bollox off to earn money if once in a while you treat yourself to something you will never get the chance to see again. its a long shot but I WANT those tickets.
£125 a ticket, for a bunch of ageing guys, harking back to their glory days? Hell yes, I want my name drawn too, I also hope they see the demand, and decide to go on tour at some point

Ditto, ditto and a thousand ditto's! except I dont have a partner,3 kids or a dog but anything else.........
£125 is a lot of dough for a gig BUT I'm sure they'd delivery the goods. Paid £95 to see the Police in Brum recently (er indoors fave band) and felt totally shafted by the greedy feckers as they were average at best

The Police are among my favourite bands, but as much as I wanted to see them live, I figured they would be average, with video clips of their live performances, I didn't think they would be good enough to be a stadium band Their studio stuff however, I love
Be intresting to see if any of use on here who have put our name in the ballot will get a ticket. Hope someone here will get tickets. luck spawny bastards Will they still do a 25 min drum solo in the set.
No need for us to see LZ now, Prince did the most stonking version of 'Whole Lotta Love' I've ever heard last night, complete with totally gonzoid guitar solo ! Suberb
I hope they have developed some new relevant material to play - rather than it just being a set of greatest hits churned out by some tired old rockers!
 Heard an interview with Dave Gilmour on the radio this afternoon, and he passed more or less the same comment as I did!
