Licence to drive the photos

I have one photo here. When I go to the "My Photos" page it is listed as public. But when I look for it through my profile it's not there. It is there in my private gallery.
Is it just me that it doesn't work for? Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
(Before you get too excited, the photo is just me in the rabbit suit)

If you've only just uploaded it, it will be visible to you in "My photos" but won't be visible to anyone else or on your profile until it's been approved.

Please don't look on this as insubordination or disobeying orders from a superior officer or anything like that. But I very definitely do have a photo here. I can see it in my private gallery (despite it not being there, if you know what I mean).
The "profile" box is ticked (it's actually a radio button and can't be un-ticked). Is that bad? I've just ticked the "private" box too. It doesn't seem to have helped.
The photo was in my public gallery when I first loaded it sometime last week. A few people saw it.
