I've never really thought about it - so thank you for starting a thought I'd not had before.
having thought about it I think I prefer subdued light. And that's ALL about how I look. LOL. But I do love the whole ambience thing that candle light gives. Loads of candles that it, at least 12.
Having said that, I don't think lack of the 'right' lighting would stop me having a great time with the right person - or people.
oooooh i must say i do like candle light, but maybe thats the romantic side coming out of me
Lights on, so I can see which bits go where and what I am doing wrong...
Ever tried to do a jigsaw puzzle in the dark?
;-)
I prefer fairly bright lighting if the fun is being filmed..
But doing it in the dark can be more exciting, especially if there are more than 2 people involved.
I like to see what I'm eating

}in edit: I do beg your pardon, I had been perusing 'stars', another forum I frequent for the Culinary Challenged who aspire to run and gain merit/esteem for thier skill and inventiveness.
oh lord! What did I post in thier "stuffing and wrapping" thread?{
hmmm......
not really thought about this until you mentioned it. I guess like everything its a good mixture on and off. But deep down thinking about it i think i prefer it off or mellowed down.
Maybe even with a few candles flickering in the background.
I like the lights dim personally, not too bright, not too dark, creates a nice ambient atmosphere I think!
Lights on so I can see what happening touch feel and enjoy but I do like to close my eyes and touch and feel aand enjoy
I like atmospheric lighting although I find I often close my eyes anyway. MrG likes the lights on too. If we disagree about the level of lighting, there's always blindfolds :twisted:
Lamplight, firelight, moonlight, dappled light, that lovely filtering in through the closed white curtains of your Mediterranean hotel in the afternoon light ...
