there were abit close to the mark!!
i can't believe i missed the first episode!, i'm gonna have to look out for the repeat!
JGL
Just like some of the best comedy-came from the radio!
It does miss the mark now and again, but is pretty inspired overall.
But, highlights for me are Tom Baker tirelessly sending himself up, and today, Geraldine James. She is still a gorgeous woman!! biggrin
I think the 'Bitty' guy is a bit boring now after the 'shock factor' of the first one.. liked the Receptionist though. Plus Lou and Andy crack me up every time.
Vicky Pollard.... spot on as always, "No but Christina Aguilera got off the bus at Fishponds.." lol
the bits with lou and andy were classic.... especailly the bit with the girlfriend!!!! biggrin :D :D
seeing vicky pollard in a bikini and roller skates was enough for me.. lol

I think both series may well go down as classics along side Fawlty Towers, Porridge, Dads Army and open all hours plus many more of course. This is British comedy at its best. It may offend some of the purists but I love it.
Reese, you mentioned that you would try and get the first series in US format do you think this sort of stuff would go down well in the states generally or is it a specialist tastes?
Judy

the americans wouldn't understand this type of hummor. its hasnt got a Friends or Will and grace formula
JGL
I love all the new characters mrs daveer linda, viv, the judges they r all sweet fat fighters has got better so has andy and lou thank you matt and david for bringing us hours of laughs again series 2 is well funnier than series 1 , but series 1 was still class.. biggrin

Sorry Corrie, the humour in "Little Britain" passes me by completely. I can sit through a whole programme and laugh maybe once, but no more.
Mike.

Me too, leaves me pretty cold. Fairly predictable, no, very predictable, same jokes every week.

Generally speaking, I think it would go down like a lead balloon in the 'States. However, my father brought me up on Monty Python in the early-'70s, when they began running it in a late-night slot on PBS (Public Broadcasting Service), so his & my SoHs are a bit different then the norm over there.
~Reese! surprised
P.S. to Vix: You could be sleeping, too, ya know. rolleyes
