Could anyone tell me why my post keeps getting locked they are not offensive, just light hearted humour it looks like only serious topic are allowed on here?
Well, my guess is...
They're grand jokes, as jokes go, but do we really need a page of "ROFLMAO" replies? It's not like it can strike up a conversation, is it?
I, for one, always read the locked threads first. So at least we're having a giggle.

Don't take it personally - rather than starting a new topic/thread everytime you post a different joke just ad it to your previous 'joke' topic and the thread will be bumped back up to the top.
It doesn't matter if the subject is serious or funny - posting new threads on the same subject isn't really 'allowed/advised'.

The possible reasons your post/thread was locked or deleted are too numerous to mention here, so we simply ask you to accept the decision and move on. What we certainly do NOT want to see is yet another post asking why your previous one was locked or deleted.

From the Help section, over there on the left.
Point taken I will try to refrain from jokes and only engage in meaning full conversation.
i think youve missed the point

Just before I lock this one, I'll explain why your others were locked.
If you google 'jokes' you will find trillions and trillions of the buggers. This is a forum for chat, but that chat can also be amusing. However as has already been pointed out, we don't want a forum full of jokes in their own right, it would just swamp the place if everone did it. Hence, any thread which is just a joke is locked.
And as Sarah has already pointed out, don't start a thread asking why your other thread is locked, just move on!
