I think the ones that have been locked have been locked either because they needed no further response or were yet more of the silly posts. You could always pm the person you wanted to respond to.
Here I go again ................ saying something when I probably shouldnt..........
BUT..........
Why dont you get told why your post has been locked ????
If not on the thread then a little PM from the person doing the locking would be nice !!!!
Just think its rude and unhelpful that a thread is locked and the person doesnt even know why .............. so could quite easily get it wrong again !!!!!

i wouldent shoot you, i agree with you. it would be nice to know why threads
were locked, then me and others might not make same mistake.

Thing is, this has all been said before - you're just dragging it all up again - this will probably get locked for exactly that reason and without you getting an explanation because it has been said before.

One of my threads was locked last week and despite pm's to Ops/Mods ........... I still dont know why !!!!
So maybe thats why some of us get it wrong over and over again !!!!!
Coz no-one tells us what it is that we are doing wrong !

An explanation has been given where needed.
If the thread asks a question, and the question has been answered, then that is the reason it is locked.
If threads have been locked for other reasons, then either the reason is given in the thread, or as I tend to do, I PM the owner and let them know why.
The only reason I posted on the thread of the last one I locked, was because I needed to explain to more than one person.
This thread asked a question, which has now been answered, so it to can be locked.
