have to agree the log out time is very annoying.
i know if you stay active in the forum its ok, but tis site has grown larger than the forum in the last few years, some people dont even use them.
when in chat its very annoying to be chatting, then click to view someones profile and have to log in again. Chat moves very fast so the 3 mins it takes to log back in can mean youve missed a person.
Also if you are only actually looking to catch up with one person, they are in your friends list so you go there to see if they are on line, it might say last on line 3 hours ago, but infact they are still sat in chat.
seems odd that your logged out of the site if inactive in the forum for longer than 24 mins but people can be sat inactive ( actually not even there) for hours at a time in chat.
it uses up chat room space, is agrivating when it looks like 20 ppl are in a room but actually only 3 are and people sit there, and you think they are ignoring you.

now i get that this could be for safety in that you could leave the comp and then someone who shouldn't be on the site has access to it. but for gods sake can we not have a log in time choice? i use other sites where you can choose how long you want to be logged in for. could someone in the mods not do this for us?

Yes I also find it annoying but....as this is an adult site, with adult material I would rather the log out than to find one of the kids see it because I had forgot to log out.

Might be worth a PM to admin, regarding chat logout then.
If I log out, I close the screen - responsible, I think - considering my kids might see it. I log out if I move away from the PC, just in case I don't get back to it quickly and the kids are around.
