Logitech Quickcam Messenger

Can anyone tell me if this cam model "Logitech Quickcam Messenger" works on the chat rooms here. I've been unable to get it to work here..just get the blue screen. Im not sure if this cam is suitable..can anyone confirm that it works...

My husband has a cam that won't work with the chat also but suppose there is bound to be a few models that won't, we have 3 cams here anyway so it don't matter... had to be the clearest of the 3 that didn't work though sad

Just remember this though, check your firewall to make sure its letting it get through, also check your settings to make sure flash is allowed to use your webcam smile

Andromeda, you might need to check the flash settings also to make sure its set to allow it using your mic

close the logitech messenger down& any other messenger
then just click the cam icon in the chatroom

I got one of those and had no trouble with it ! They're the best selling webcam so I doubt it's a compatibility issue.
Just go over your settings again and see if that clears it.
