Have to say Corrie Struggle with most of these
re 1) I assume the book is talking of physical sexual love, bearing in mind what Calre said , but even then I believe it is possible to love more than one person, but then that said I suppose we need to determine what is love
Re 2 I probably tend to agree, love is sometimes more sometimes less.
Re 3 yes but to equate or rather realte love to jealousy is not appropriate, just because someone is jealous does not mean that they love

Re5 lust might become love, and certainly there is nothing wrong in there being lust within a loving relationship, certainly lust has never Troubled me

Would disagree, I have a friend in a polyamorous relationship and she truly does love them both. I'd agree with Clare also .. you have different kinds of love. I love a friend of mine like a brother as we've grown up together and would definitely have a sexual relationship with him, were he available, it's not the same way I love my hubby but there are aspects of it that are.

Would disagree in my mind that just means that they are content in life. Love is not dependent on jealousy ... the too emotions are very different.

Would disagree, I was constantly suspicious of an ex of mine (was an abusive relationship). Constant suspicion kills love ..... you can't show your true emotions in such a relationship and eventually the lack of trust kills a relationship.

Again not sure. I would have married all my ex's ...... thankfully I only married once and it was the perfect choice. I'd not swap hubby for anyone as we have a great marriage.
I too disagree with #4. In the context of swinging, for example, we choose to do this as an expression of just how much we do love and trust each other......it`s a gift we want to share, even if we have occassions we do so seperately, we will both be a big part of that gift of sexual freedom, and we love each other all the more for this.
