Nope.... You need to have extensive knowledge of Lush products.... CTG does not count :lol2:

Lush - isn't that Croatian for "toxic waste that will make a man's eyes bleed"?
Dawn used to go to the Lush shops. I had to stand outside DOWNWIND of the shop due to the rancid odour that creeps out of the door.
Now she uses the mail order delivery service. They use the old lorries from Sellafield that used to dispose of nuclear reactor scrap to make their deliveries.
We don't need to recycle the packaging, it self desctructs once the Lush is opened to the air.
Ok, so maybe it sounds like I'm sitting on the fence and you can't tell if I like it or not.
Well as a parting comment, we used to have a medicine cabinet in our bathroom, and it's been converted into a Lush cupboard. So if you're ill and you open up the cupboard looking for something to help you with your ailment, the stench from the cupboard will make you forget there was anything wrong with youself in the first place.
Ian
Oh shit Ian is here  bolt
ok... I havent read the whole thread...Ill go back and do that in a moment or two...maybe...
BUT:
these blasted *lush* shops.... nasty places.... my eyeballs start peeling when I should accidentally wander near one... if I were more alert when a-wandering, Im sure Id be able to *see* the noxious fumes... Im sure they'd be a livid, flourescent yellow.. seeking me out... stripping paint from window-frames... melting the tyres of nearby palked cars!!!
why on earth is it allowed?
even I can acknowledge that thier products >some< are really rather nice.... but BLIMEY!!! all the fragrances combined, oooozing out into the street<???> shouldnt be allowed I tells ya!
If Mr Hussien had had a Lush franchise on his doorstep... that would have been used as proof of WMD!...
my eyes are watering at the thought of passing Lush in Victoria Station...
Blind! Im blind!!!!... hep me!
lp
>>in edit... having just looked above... I see Ian is of the same mind... I pity you sir, I pity you<<
I`ve never been in a lush shop and have never tried their products...ever! redface

I have to admit, felixx, to knowing, and using the CTG stuff back in the '90's.
The women at a workplace all used to get their gear mail-order... and I was known to indulge.
>for shame<

dunno Whats all the fuss about Lush it only soap :dunno:
Dawnie kiss

Sorry I think you're confused. I've checked in the dictionary and
Lush - someone who is fond of a drink or two.
Soap - Tv dramas that follow the lives of 'normal' people (usually melodrama)

My first lot of things from Lush were bought for me this christmas.
He got me this huge slumbers box kit set thingie and then complained like Ian has in this thread about the toxic smell of the shop and how he valiantly endured nearly passing out in there while buying my gift! smile
Not used it yet because I want to save it for a special occasion and seems too nice to use. redface rolleyes Kind of defeats the object of having it really.
kiss
edit.. awwww, I've just been on the website to see what it was called and it seems he's picked the contents of the box himself! surprisedops: How sweet is that!
:inlove: Aww, I don't think I can use the stuff now even though I know I should.
Double edit... See they still have the 'Little Gem' gift set! lol
Gem some of the items can be broken up and used a little at a time, such as bubble bars.
Go on, give them a try, you will love it
is lush that shop?? urgg it stinks!!
Gem that's soooo sweet biggrin I am sure a few of us will give you tips on how to use them  :lol2:
aj yes the smell can be overpowering in the shop but the products themselves individually smell fantastic smile
