Lush What is the fuss about
what kind of smells do you like anyway PK.... sweet (honey/vanilla/ strawberry/chocolate type? flowery (lavender, rose, geranium etc) , oriental (jasmine, patchouli, sandlewood etc) ? or zesty fresh scents (lemon, grapefruit, peppermint etc)
as a beginner you can go far wrong with Honey I washed the Kids soap and Angels on Bare Skin cleanser though :thumbup:

ohh..........I like the sound of all of those to be hoest.......but the oriental and zesty ones sound a bit more like me........I didn't make it shopping today but will go tomorrow........thanks for the tips guys.......I'll report back tomorrow.............

I have some very good vanilla mates who I am pretty close to and one evening after a few bottles of vino we had a rather good mutual massage session using some luscious smelling lush stuff.... nothing more than foot and neck/back massages but it's something I remember well... justwish one of us could remember which bleeding massage bar we used now

ohh..........I was just starting to feel sorry for myself as SHeddy can't get home so has gone out with his collegues instead........when I remembered that I hadn't used the bag of goodies that I bought yesterday.......
Now when I was in Lush I forgot all the advice I was given (I know I should have written it down
) and the only thing I could remember was the olive branch shower gel that Dark suggested so got that and some conditioner as well as A free bar of soap. So I've just had a lovely long relaxing shower and am now officially a convert to the sisterhood of lush........the shower gel was really invigorating and has left my skin lovely and soft and and the conditioner was good too...... :lol:
SO tomorrow evening I think I need a trip back to lush to get some more stuff as obviously I need to try ALL their products before I can decide which I like best...... :giggle:

has anyone tried "fresh"? i work for the nhs and just found out that i get a 10% discount at their online store so thought id give it a go (i might aswell as i get my lush stuff online as it is, the nearest store to me is an hour away and i like it but not that much lol)

I haven't tried Fresh myself Kitten but I have heard good things about it
As for candles I buy mine from I buy the bakery candles, namely the orange wax tarts, buttermilk pancakes and the gingerbread men... The scents last much longer than Yankee candles :D

Just make sure you get the "proper" ones if you're going to do the whole candle wax on the skin thing

They are fab, it's a genius idea
Can't comment on Lush as I have never made it in to a Lush shop. The smell starts me sneezing as soon as I get near one.

Ooo Timmy has just walked in from getting petrol and bought me a 4 layer scented candle - toasted hazlenut, frosted vanilla, chocolate coffee and ginger pear . I'll let you know if it's nice :D
