Right, want to get a lady friend some sexy undies.
1st thought was La Senza but on a visit a cpl of weeks back she said non took her fancy (and to be fair nothing does me on the website) so...
Is M&S 'not special enough' for a Christmas morning?
Thinking very much along the lines of the 'name/ label/packaging' compared to la senza's big boxes and tissue paper. I will add I think they have some v sexy undies particularly the autograph line
Would u just see the M&S label and think no??
It's not the label that would bother me, personally. It's the uncomfortable, scratchy lacy stuff that is totally impractical and difficult to wear.
M&S is fine, if what's inside the box/bag is silky, soft, well made and a colour that suits. Maybe have a conversation that goes around the feel of what's good, colours she likes, what about ribbons, bows, lace etc. Get a feel for the generality of what she likes then get hunting on the web for suppliers.
There are other places than La Senza - Victoria's Secrets or something?
Have fun hunting anyway biggrin
Ethel Austin? or am i missing a point here?

:laughabove:
Debanhams sell some lovely designer stuff too biggrin
buy a gift voucher.... and suggest she buys some lingerie with the money.
I once read somewhere that one of the greatest mistakes a man can make is choosing undies for a woman and making the wrong choices.
Im a man of the world and still dont fancy my chances getting it right!!!
take the sensible option... let her choose her own!!
if i liked the undies i wouldnt care where they came from, hell i have undies from primark and asda ffs lol obviously not my fave underwear but every now and again they have stuff in that takes my fancy
I only ever wear knickers if my intention is that they will be removed at some point in the not-too-distant. Therefore it really doesn't matter what they look like, it's the thought that counts and keep the receipt  Just make sure you get the size right
And of course you will be running the tightrope of
Didn't she really want a new steam iron?
Go on, if a 24V hammer drill can be a present, then so can a set of saucepans lol
Ian
Woolworths won't be an option now.....

A set of saucepans is only ever an acceptable gift if you're wanting your nuts crushed between them because in my experience that will be the end result! :scared:

I would FAR rather get a set of decent pans or a hammer drill than underwear any day. I'm easy to buy for. biggrin:D:D:D
Actually, I would love a new frying pan for Christmas but even typing it makes me realise how sad I am redface sad
You could try Agent Provocateur... expensive but lush! wink
My view is.
Buy beautiful lingerie that makes u both go mmmmmmm when u r together.
For Christmas and Birthdays buy things that you have worked out she will love but she wont think to buy for herself. I make a list of stuff my loved ones mention for just such occasions. Asking other ladies what they would like is a good shortcut in emergencys.
My ex loved wicked weasel stuff, they have some seriously sexy stuff!
