Ok madness has taken over and this weekend a few of us are ... wait for it...... drumroll
going camping :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek:
There will be rain ,
wind ,
and snow
and a few camping mad hatters sleeping in tents
on sunday our tents may well look like

so any ideas how to keep warm cept the usual blankets sleepings bags 10 layers of clothes and heaters (nee shagging lol kids will be about) any camping games u love
or just tell us we flipping off our rockers

a handy hint is to wrap yourself in tinfoil (shiny side to your skin)
and hey presto boil-in-the-sleeping-bag Fanny!!

When I was a little boy, I once ran away from home - I took my dog and my tent with me.
Found a field and started to get set up, only to find that I had forgoten the tent pegs - so I went back home - my mother was so relieved that she couldn't speak for a few days.

Yup.
You're mad.
Had a similar easter break years ago on The lizard. The first week of the hols had been lovely, so we booked a cheap, drafty caravan for the second.
It snowed, and was feckin freezing the whole time!

God ain't what you say the truth! :sad: Last years weather :shock: what happened!! God I hope we have a spell of hot dry 'bright!'stuff. Maybe. please, do you think, can we huh, huh, pleaseeeeeeeeee.
Mrs Lost and I have been known to BBQ Dec/Jan/Feb and in the snow and gale force winds before now biggrin

Got some fantastic memories of those times lol

However, I do know the memories are selective. the reality at the time was probably very different.

Wished we lived nearer surprised

we thought about camping this weekend too but saw weather and decided against it!!!!! :cry: But went camping last april and last october so a bit of cold weather doesnt bother us....but rain and snow is another matter!!!!!!!!!!! :shock:
thick mattress and 25 tog quilt might help lol

Well we were gonna go camping this weekend but..............
decided against it.
ile stick to the central heating and electric blanket I think
Hot water bottles may just be an option this weekend, you must be mad.

aye was a cany mad w/end snow camping lol

we even had a cpl of visiters funny enough they didnt stop :lol: even the gas froze :lol: and it did tak me a few times to find out why i had a bit of interference on me telly (tans viby :lol: )and i thout it was buzz lightyear redface
