Ok - here's where forums come in to their own...
I've got a MASSIVE grump on this evening
Had a cool avatar binned this morning (pm me if you want to see it)
The kids have been driving me up the wall all day
Now I just feel crap
oh - and my step-mum wants me to thinks of names for their new fecking dog!!!!
Any assistance in feeling better would be most welcome and any name ideas for the dog (it is a brown Labradoodle (FFS) bitch) that make me laugh could be good too.
Well my aunty had a Labrador called Craig (cos she got him from Craig James Kennels) and a neighbour when i was a kid had a white poodle called Snappy ( and it was) so why not combine the two and call the dog Crappy .......then he could be Crappy Brown ( full name for dog passport).

What sorta dog? It could be anything from Fi-Fi to Butch.
Suppose the names have to be more original than Fido, Biscuit or Bonio... Ok got thinking cap on...............................................
Does it have to be a girlie name? Or a short snappy name for bellowing at the dog when she's pooped on the carpet?
MatnDani?
no good asking me for dogs names. i had a cat called ceefer and a dog called deefer. hardly original now is it? my staffs called bullseye ffs. how original is that? wrong person to ask altogether! ;)
neil x x x ;)
Someone i once worked with had two dogs, called Dick and Fanny............ confused
AND IM NOT MAKING THAT UP!!
Benjamin
makes no odds what you call it!
it`ll still shit on the carpet rolleyes
I had a dog once……….
It only had three legs, as it run out the gate one day and got hit by a car…..
Oh... and It got into a fight with the next-door neighbours cat, and lost its left eye….
One day it got its tail caught in the kitchen door and it had to be amputated…
But it was a lovely little dog all the same….. called Lucky
lol
give the name "you little shit" a thought.....cos i can garauntee youll end up calling it that....
Hi Matt biggrin I cant imagine what a labxpoodle looks like, the idea scares me tho! How about 'Metisse'- its french for mongrel ??
Thanks for the suggestions so far - um - unfortunately it has to be the sort of name that can be used by all member of the family (six children under 10 (not all ours BTW) four adults and a crumbly!)
Incidentally, this is what a Labradoodle looks like...

HungryP: Any name suggestions would be good - so far we have come up with Cadbury (becuse she is chocolate coloured) and Yankee (as in Yankee Doodle)
Neil: We did contemplate deefer, but I think one of my step-mums previous efforts was called that too.
Kanluvslucy: Apparently, even though if it had been created by a 'normal' person it would be a mongrel, this is a bonafide (or should that be boney-fido) pedigree and has the certification to proove it!!! Go figure.
I'm not very creative when it comes to naming pets I'm afraid. When i lived with a bunch of workmates we had a Doberman-Rottweiller cross called Rocky. How predictable was that?
I had a couple of cats called Philippa and Victoria. I forget the reason, but I'm sure it seemed a good idea at the time.
I had an Afghan called Lady because she was very prim and proper and sat on chairs with her legs crossed (honestly, I'm not making this up)
I had a labrador called Sherry, which was odd considering she was black.
The mouse who lives behind my fireplace and has resisted all inducements to move out is called Mickey.
I've even had a Koi carp called Jaws. rolleyes
" Oi " how does that sound????????

How about Yorkie??? Appropriate because of the colour, & short enough to be used millions of times without becoming a pain to say/shout/scream. And probably reasonably unique, avoiding confusion with other dog owners when they call their dogs.
