Is the Master/slave scene something your ....
I find the whole thing a bit unerving, men and women who want to be abused in some way or forced to serve others, Men and women who want to dominate someone else, abuse them, force them to do things, have them under thier total control, nope definetely not for me especially the extreme side of BDSM and Gor etc. I found a lot of the Masters I met had deep feelings of inadequacy and used the BDSM scene to make up for this in thier own minds, controlling someone made them feel adequate again and at the same time I found that some of the submissive people were of above average intelligence, could control situations and wanted to be dominated at times, a kind of "pressures off me to make all the descisions" scenario.
The biggest turn off in life for me is for some woman to try and dominate me, or to offer me this if I do that, y'know "if you beg me you can see my tits" errrr no thanks there are plenty more tits to see without me having to beg, nor will I demand the same in return for anything I give, and for me a relationship is a partnership of equality.

Voted no interest at all. Have a slight curiosity about mild BDSM. Wouldent mind visiting a club at least once to gauge my reaction/opinion. Though at present I know for sure I have no desire to be dominated and no known attraction to being dominant. That said with the later I have not tried and couldn't give a complete opinion until I did.

Of course perhaps more trust and more respect for each other if that is possible, I do not deny that those who enjoy a Master/sub, dom/slave relationship have trust and respect for each other, I do not deny that they both get great pleasure from what they do be it Master, Mistress, Dominatrix, Slave, Switch etc what I said was I feel uneasy about the reasons why they enjoy that form of pleasure in the same way I wonder about the reasons for many other peoples pleasure, for example adult babies, watersports or scat.
I enjoy sex with women, I believe this to be because it is the natural instinct of most living creatures, for most BDSM has a great sexual conotation in whichever form they choose but for some it has nothing to do with sex but a lot to do with the recieving of pain or the inflicting of pain or the power or the submission, I personally wonder what makes them enjoy such things, ok I know a little pain can be a sexual turn on and we all have different pain thresholds but that then gives a reason for some of BDSM except for those that do not enjoy any sexual experience from it.
Now I don't enjoy watersports, BDSM, scat, or being a baby but I do not judge those that do, each to thier own, I wonder why they enjoy it and that is different to dissaproving of them and I do think there must have been some sort of "trigger" in thier life that makes them seek pleasure in that way. When we reach puberty we don't sit down and think hmmmm gas masks I think I will go for that option, or I think I will be gay it is within us to be what we are and enjoy the things we do.
How many could kill an animal for fun, how many could kill an animal for food and how many could not willingly kill an animal for any reason ? how many could kill another human being and how many could not (albeit I accept that some things we will never know until we face a situation where that might be necessary) there is something in us that allows some to do things others will not, something in us which makes us enjoy different things, something in us that makes us fear heights or want to run around building skyscrapers. Me I can kill others and I can cope with heights but I couldn't run around those high girders or work in a mine, I don't fear insects but I don't like to touch them, I could never eat some of the things others eat (I'm a celeb get me out, fear factor food type things). Something in peoples makeup let's them do things others will not, something in peoples nature allows people to enjoy things others don't and I wonder what it is that makes BDSM lovers love it and if it is just in thier makeup or is it something in thier life that has triggered the enjoyment of the scene ?
