Theres currently another thread about cheap holidays, and i thought it a good idea to let others know about this website, which offers VERY cheap travel around the country.

Its either a double decker bus or a coach (yes i know its not the height of luxury) but i put in a random route ie. London to Manchester cost £3 each way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so the journey may take u about 2 hours longer that driving would but think of the savings and the books you could read! The prices do vary according to day and time obviously.
Just thought id mention it, as i know we arent all made of money, some of us are single parents, students etc and if it helps someone, then brilliant! May mean someone can now afford to get to a munch lol

Well spotted J! Hope you don't mind if I cross post this to the Scottish Munch!
Unfortunately they don't do Edinburgh to Manchester too sad Cupids may have to wait till work calls . . . :(

Or you could get a lift in a battered old metro from Preston to London, like I did a few months ago in order to get to a conference...... It cost nothing, but jeeeez, wasn't it a long journey :eeek:
We have travelled several times down to parties near Manchester. We took the megabus, it cost us in total for us to get there and back. Ok, it isn't luxury, but it did mean that we could afford to go. It doesn't stop all over the place either. Once we left Dundee, a quick stop in Perth and Glasgow then straight to Manchester.
I believe that the Edinburgh bus travels to Glasgow, where you pick up the mega bus going to Manchester.

You mean u didnt stop off in Herts!! mad :x
I have used Megabus from London to Wales a couple of times in the past few months - £1 each way plus 50p on-line booking fee. It was cheaper than the Undergound ticket to Victoria.
The price varies with a couple of factors, including how early you book; the last trip, for example, was £3 each way.
