Member Offline?

I've just been into my profile and changed something on it. After updating it, i read it to check it was right and noticed that it says just under the pic box that i am "Member Offline"??
Now obviously i am not offline..coz i am here writing this..nor have i re-signed in since i came on here about 40 mins ago.. and i am also signed into chat!!
So why does it say I am Member Offline??

It should show the elapsed time from when you last logged in.

Surely it should tell other people that i am online tho..as i was in the forum and writing this thread? instead of saying member offline when im actually on?

Having checked my setting for online status it says..
Hide your online status and i have dotted No.

In an ideal world it would, we tried another version that ran on sessions a while back, unfortunately it was hammering the servers so we had to go back to last log in time, we did think about using the log out but that created errors as not everyone logs out, some just time out.
