I have just had a paste sandwich with some pickled onions on the side for my dinner. YUK i hear you shout, but i just really fancied it. I used to eat it all the time when i was young, sitting at home with my mum watching cockleshell bay, after coming home from morning nursery ( and yes i can remember that far back) lol Its funny how certain foods remind you of things/people/places.
Which foods bring back memories for you?

When I was much younger and got ill my mother used to mash bananas with some sugar for me - now I STILL eat a banana every day but without the sugar.

I never had the nerve to eat Skippy whilst down under - mostly survived on strawberry and banana flavoured Big Ms!
Rabbit with mashed sweede and potatoes, accompanied by the sound of the sea and wind whistling through the cottage and the smell of parafin lanterns
Times were hard but we survived.
i can almost hear that hovis ad music lol
Rice pudding. Hate the stuff.
But when I was at school, if you didnt eat all your dinner, you had to eat all of your pudding.
I hadnt liked my dinner, can't remember what it was, so I had to eat my pudding, cause the headmaster was sat at my table.
So after forcing down a bowl of rice pudding - I then threw it all back up over the head!!!!
If I een see the stuff now, I have to walk away or I'm ill!!!!
i just put rice pudding into google so that i could paste a nice image in here for you to enjoy and the first page is full of children
have i missed something?
