The post in this thread from 2006 suggests mentors for people who are new. The link on the post is broken.

I'm new. Also a bit lost and definitely unsure about some things. Are mentors still around?

For my sins I am a site moderator but I'm also a site member like you. You are welcome to message me direct on any questions do's /don'ts / etitquette / some of the functions available to you as a paid member. If I can't help you I'll be able to point you in the right direction to where the help may be found.

There are a number of guides knocking around the site, some are a bit dated but the principles remain the same (etiquette) and as you have the ability to get into the chatrooms why not drop in there and have a mosey about?
