Mid Life Crisis

This year I'll be 40 yeah the big 4&0. So I've decided I'm gonna get my bike licence. Already bought myself a nice FZR600 got the course & test booked for next month.
So I was wondering what other ppl have done, i.e the convertable car is like no good for me I live in the cold wet
So what ya gonna do for yours?

Well... as my (imaginary) age is only 24 wink

I've got plenty of time to figure it out!!
Won't be a bike though... am waaaay too accident prone!

I was forty this year as well, but think i went through my mid life crisis a few years ago, as i got the bike and then had the tattoo's and the piercings...Dave still got a few years to go,god only knows what he will want as he has the bike already and I am more into sports cars than him, he will probably want a track bike and go racing biggrin

Also just turned 40, and made all these decisions about how I am now going to just get out there and enjoy myself, have fun (naughty or otherwise) as I want to, and sod to worrying about what others think of me. In other words, I was going to be a proper swinger lol

What have I dont so far?????
Zero, didly squit, sod all, but the intention is still there :lol:
(but I did have my long hair cut very short and get a tattoo when I was upset at turning 35) :lol:

My midlife crisis started at 30, I hated that birthday and sulked till I got to 40, then I went out and had my nose peirced lol

Now, well I just dont look back, lifes far too short and Im ever the optamist :lol:

For the last twenty years it feels my life has been nothing but a series of mid-life crisis's's's'...
without the benefit of fast cars or motorbikes.
I fear I'm on borrowed time already... If you haven't heard from me for a few days... well....

I did my CBT 2 years ago at the tender age of 45 :smug:
Since turning 40 I've got married ( and divorced rolleyes

) found the best job in the world, made heaps of new friends, fell in love again ( and lost it :cry: ) and last but by no means least, I found swinging :twisted:
Crisis? What crisis? dunno

WELL I AM THE BIG 40 IN NOV
so im giving the driving another go,have crossed a couple of things of my list of to do's before im an old git.....
still got a few more to do
still got the limo thing to to go.....helicopter.....
ballgown........
gonna get another tat or piercing not sure which...
have a make over and of course have as much differant varied sex as i can xxxxxxxxxxxxx

If lists were to come into it then apart from the licence I only need to see the grand canyon.......Then when that happens I'll be fooked nowt more to achieve.

I HATED being 40 and I hibernated and did'nt do anything in the way of parties......however I did spend a very happy evening snuggled up in bed, with a huge glass of wine, in a chatroom here, chatting to Blonde and all the folks we were chatting to on a regular basis at that time which was nearly 3 years ago :shock: OMG!! have I been here that long blink

I must get a life lol

Oh and I remember saying that night that I don't think anyone looks sexy smoking confused

....however...Blonde does :twisted:

It mostly seems to be women with this problem, guys can be walking down the street in their work clothes, beer belly hanging out and still think they are sexy....... rolleyes
