Hs anyone noticed that some free to air channels have gone off air today and there is poor reception on some. Asume its a snow related problem. Is it only in South Wales or more widespread?
The channels are 11,19,25,29,32,37,44. These show a 'no signal'. Some others are just a black screen.

Perfect reception on those channels here in Yorkshire - no problems at all. Have you tried reinstalling all channels?
They may as well take all TV channels off air as there is never anything on them worth watching.
A whole load of our channels went missing last year.
Lots of people had upgraded equipment, nothing worked.
Until the local radio station found out the mast company was doing work and had installed a half power temporary transmitter which "should have been no problem" according to them. Well we lost 50% of the BBC / ITV type channels for a year.
The funniest thing was the day after they put up the new mast, it caught fire. Comedy of errors!
I'd check that they are not "upgrading" your local mast.

You lucky buggers with your la de da terrestrial television.
We lost all of ours when they switched to digital and the only mast without a mountain in the way had its power reduced by 50%-no radio anymore either. Maybe summat similar has happened round your way, you can check it out online.
We now rely on a sky set up which is unreliable on some channels in snowy and rainy weather. Inconvenient lately as minx has an addiction to 327 and 328 the non stop christmas film channels.
Good luck with it all.
You can check for Freeview problems / engineering works etc here:-
Hi, thanks for the replies. Rebooted 3 TVs with out success, all the same. Local transmitters all report no probs, neigbhour has TV channels. Looks like its in our house. Have 2 check aerial and boosters.
Merry Christmas

Ah I am reassured there is an end to this madness.
