Mobile phones..... love them or loathe them..... are here to stay... and unfortunately people seem to think that just because they're chatting to their best friend, husband, child or possibly even lover on the other end of the phone... that no-one else can hear them...lol
A few days ago... i was stood in the bank queue when the lady stood in front of me answered her phone. She then proceeded to treat myself and everyone stood in the bank to a full and explicit version of her love life, and what she had done with her boyfriend or whoever the night before..... i was totally scarlet just being subjected to the highly coloured tale she was telling.. and several people were staring at her...
I cannot be without my mobile, but would never have had such a conversation in public.....
Have you ever been in a similar situation???? or... where you possibly the lady in question?????? lol

Nat West? lol
I used to laugh at the joke of the guy using his mobile on the train and talking loudly. That is, until some young kid did exactly that, except that every second word was a swear word of extremely colourful language.
To make matters worse, it was school starting time and the train was also full of school kids. redface
nope, I've seen people without enough manners to take their phone call away from public areas where possible, but never overheard any saucy stuff. I have noticed that they have an uncanny ability to make peoples legs work, so anyone with a dodgy hip should get one and answer calls standing up, cos I've yet to see anyone able to stand still whilst useing one. All these hip and knee replacements arn't necessary, all the NHS need to do is get a shed load of Nokias
I have never heard such an explicit phone call in public....but i have heard 2 other people speaking while using my mobile...
I rang my mother up 1 day on my mobile and we could both hear 2 other people talking in quite a rude way...i was quite embarrassed just because it was my mother i was talking to while we could hear them..i hung up then dialed back and they was never to be heard again smile

Or maybe a load of walkie-talkies lol
Whilst walking through Preston town centre the other day I heard someone get dumped via mobile phone rotflmao ......... Class.... she started off by pointing out quite politely all the guy's faults, and then ended by saying she never wanted to see him again.......... fair play, he did sound like a total prick :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
If I'm walking around the shops or something then I'll talk on my mobile...most of the time I don't realise how loud I am though.
If I'm in a quiet place I'll go somewhere else and call the person back.
If I'm at home, I go out in the garden to get some privacy!
I once heard someone get sacked via mobile phone.... she wasn't very pleased by the end of the call - it seems it was a company mobile so she proceeded to throw the thing on the floor and let it smash into peices!
biggrin

He must have been a prick to listen to her point out all his faults and stay on the line ......... Id've hung up on the woman!!!.
I don't mind people using mobile phones around me (probably coz I'm a nosey bastard) but I hate people with personal Walkman's, iPod's etc ...... all you can hear is tinny music and can't make out the song ..... so fecking irritating!!! grrrrr

equi-princess ....about 4 years ago i was incanada giving whistler and blackcombe mountains a good seeing too...while i was there i received a very distressing text message..
you have to take into consideration that texts from abroad were fairly new...
i was told in no uncertain terms that i was being dumped and that i wasnt to ring her again as her husband had found out about us.....
i immediatley texted back regarding my dissapointment and told her that i would honour her wishes....afew other texts ensued which were more informal and casual chit chat came back on the scene...
unfortunately this halted abruptly when the girl in question realised she had originally texted the wrong person and had infact been telling her life story to a total stranger...
sigh.... i never got to know which country she was from but i really enjoyed out time together...
