just to let anyones whos got my mobile number on here that i had a bit of a accident and well lets just say its broken.
im hoping to get a new one next week sometime, and hopefully will keep the same number.
made me realise how much i rely on it. I have a work mobile i can use , but the leason learnt is not to only store the numbers etc in the phone but write them in that old fassioned thing called a address book.

You might have broken the phone but did you think to take the SIM card out? 
Tell the truth, you dropped it down the toilet didn't you !! I did that once and its a nightmare when you do.
What I do now is save all the numbers on my SIM, and then back the SIM up onto one of these

bloody hell i knew someone would guess id dropped it down the toilet. 
i did fish it out and im hoping it might dry out , probally bloody wont though. so its off to the shops next week to buy a new one.
yes ive got the sim card but no old phone that will accept it .
the new problem ill have is what phone do i buy??? video, bluetooth? flip?

My history with mobiles is really quite sad.
I started off with a Nokia brick, which I loved but after two years of loyal service it gave up the ghost
. The nice man in the shop I took it to for help persuaded me to change it for a 3410 as I had a contract then and I got replacemnets free. All went well for a few weeks and I even bought it a snazzy cover 
. Then the very night I put the cover on and took it out it got stolen :( . I lost a lot fo numbers that I hadn't bothered writing down so when I got a new one (another 3410) I always wrote the numbers down too. But that broke very quickly and the repair people said it was water damage (bollocks) so it wasn't insured . Then I started using an old one of Denise's (8210) which worked well for a while til my toddler dropped it in the bath and it conked out :( . So I bought another 8210 off ebay, which also worked well for a while, albeit you could hardly hear anyone as its volume was fucked, and then the signal kept failing. So at the end of last year I bought an 02 camera phone which is the shitest purchase I have ever made 
. The menus are a nightmare, and I can never get a signal in my house, or anywhere else for that matter, and it freezes in the middle of writing texts too :doh: . I am thinking of changing it but like all things that involve spending money, I keep putting it off :dry: . I am very lax at writing numbers on paper now, so you can guarantee that it will break just before I pick up a pen.

seriously though it is georgous
Also, you can actually cut your simcard down (I'm assuming its the old credit card size) to fit into a new size, just get someone elses sim and draw around it over the area of the card that has the gold contacts on it - I've done it once before and it does work !!

I think cameras on phones can be quite handy, for example: how many times have you been out somewhere, seen something interesting, and thought "if only I had a camera with me...."
