Mod message - Reporting of ads
In fact - anyone who reports requesting an advert is deleted - please put your e-mail address, then if we decide not to delete it, we can tell you why.
And just to make it clear, we do NOT read adverts before they are posted, so reporting ads with comments like"How did you F***ing useless twats let this one get posted, it is about time you c****s did your f***ing jobs properly" clearly indicate a less than perfect understanding of how the moderating of adverts functions.

Sorry, I'll tone it down a bit next time.
:lol: It doesn't happen very often - it is just so funny when someone rants on like that - and finishes up with"If you do not delete this advert immediatly - I will stop using your site"
The frustrating thing is - probably 95% of the adverts we get reported are for genuine reasons - and we are very grateful for the reports because it saves us a shit load of work! - don't think there is a phone voucher ad that is on the site for more than a couple of minutes before it gets reported. When I logged in earlier, there was one that had been on for 40 minutes and been reported a dozen times.
The report system works great - there are very few ads which breach the AUP that stay for more than an hour or two, and that is mostly the ones that are posted in the wee small hours of the morning. Most reports are picked up and actioned within minutes.
But please - there is no need to be abusive about us, or the posters in your reports!

We are receiving an increasing number of reports about pictures being lifted from other websites (and one in particular). If you have reason to suspect that any pictures are being 'stolen' then send us the specific weblink so we can check it out.
It is more likely that these people are being reported maliciously and it just ties everyone up in a long rigmarole to sort things out. As Kat said earlier we won't be deleting any ads on an unsubstantiated and anonymous report.
Give us the evidence to act.

I'm always very abusive when I report men in the wrong category, because I masturbate wildly over the ladies' ads and the sight of another guy's one-eyed pleasure-pike suddenly appearing on my screen is a bit of a mood-killer.
Okay, just kidding. The mods to a great job and people should chill out and stop berating them. But I guess the idiots who do this aren't actually reading this forum...
