A user called Geordie just put a post in dogging offering sex for money.
Within 5 minutes of it being posted I received 6 PMs about it.
I would just like to say - that is bloomin fantastic - you all received a shorter message of thanks than you deserved.
The ideal situation on this site is that the users moderate the site - and the moderators simply do the boring techy bits of deleting and de-activating people.

Well done KitKat,and a big thank you to the people that send pms with regard to it.
I had a similar one yesterday in the was an escort and had it in her name.I booted sure that if i hadnt been in then she would have been reported to me or one of the other chatroom mods.

I agree with Kat. I often get PM's from users telling me of something they have noticed. They are all gratefully received and always get a thank you and an explanation of what I've done about it. We, as Mods, can't see everything straight away as we may be in a different part of the Site when something is posted, but we are always grateful for your help.
I also always keep my name visible so that users, good and bad, can see we are there, ready to assist or ban if required.

Just an afterthought. Yesterday I had a PM from a member who was concerned about a post they had seen. Innocent on its' own, but they felt uneasy due to something they knew. Please don't think 'I won't tell a Mod, because it doesn't seem to big an issue'. DO tell us! We might have had someone else contact us about this person before and need further infomation before we can act. Your small piece of info might just complete the jigsaw, so don't hold back. Let us know. we will always check it out first.
