To help settle an arguement at home do other people like moving furniture around in their home? Often when i get bored i'll move sofas, beds, wardrobes etc around the rooms. So when my hubby comes home after being away all week finds himself about to plonk his arse on nothing cos i've moved the chair redface . He says its a woman thing but is it?

I think this is deffo a girlie thing as jane does the same sort of thing to me.
But i come home after a day working to find all the furniture moved except i normally find all the electrical items in the middle of the lounge with all the leads and wires disconected just waiting for me to wire it all back up mad
you have to love em dontch ya
Of course you have to love us - especially you Ian!!! wink
It is a woman thing, I have to admit, we get bored of having all the stuff in the same place, we need entertaining, things livening up, so we move stuff about - it could be worse y'know!
biggrin
I used to do it when I was married to a squaddie & didnt work, so I would get bored looking at things the same way & change them. I once did it & he came home drunk & couldnt get back out of the living room so threw up in my handbag :!:
I dont tend to do it now as I work full time so dont spend as much time at home
nope not mine
we have not got anything left
kids killed it years ago
Nope its not a girlie thing....i'm normally at home in the afternoon and when i get bored i'm moving furniture around, mainly the bedroom. redface
my house isnt big enough to move stuff around.......wardrobes in bedrom are fitted and the bed will only fit one way
everythings fitted in the the breakfast bar
living room....I have to block my front door to get in a 3 seater and a 2 seater and have 2 alcoves which my TV is in one and Hi fi in the other.....
but im sure if I did have enough room I still wouldnt move stuff arround cos then i'd have to clean the space where it was lol redface

Seconded
Yep. Last year I swopped my sitting room and dining room over, after a year I've decided I didn't like it so a couple of weeks ago I swopped them back again. The tv was bloody heavy.

I shifted my sitting room around slightly recently, just got bored with it the way it was. Nothing I can do about the bedroom as the wardrobes won't fit on any other wall rolleyes
Hello Ineedmoor by the way wave
I was up at six this morning so have changed all my kitchen cupboards around so no buggers gonna find anything tonight. My excuse trying to get everything done before i start college but think i just like confusing them all really :giggle:
Off now to change the bedroom round ( again!!)
