>> hier gibt es die deutsche Version von Gnod
Gnod is my experiment in the field of artificial intelligence. Its a self-adapting system, living on this server and 'talking' to everyone who comes along. Gnods intention is to learn about the outer world and to learn 'understanding' its visitors. This enables gnod to share all its wisdom with you in an intuitive and efficient way. You might call it a search-engine to find things you don't know about.

Hmmm.
Putting in Carter USM gave Cubanate (great band), The Fall (another cool band), and Bananafishbones (who?).
I think I might try a few more odd ones from my collection, see if I can find some new music to listen to.
Edit: I do find it kind of disturbing that putting in GG Allin gives a reference, albeit on the periphery for The Monkees. I think it'd be quite difficult to find two more different acts.
How on earth do you go from Bon Jovi to Mariah Carey
I put in Depeche Mode and got Alphaville but I have no idea who they are dunno

...and why, pray tell is Vera Lynn not listed yet?..I don't believe it! lol
Really weird!!!
I put in The Waterboys (as it was the first CD I happened to look at) at it came up with Leo Kottke - a little known but brilliant american acustic guitar player - whose CD I have sitting right next to The Waterboys.

Now of the latest searches, can you pinpoint which ones are people from here and who they are? biggrin

The flaming lips was mine
So was ABBA, but in my defence I was trying to explain to dammie how it worked so I had to use a group he'd heard of :giggle:
