Seriously, have we got any musicians on site, what do you play and what made you choose that instrument ?

I can play the triangle and the tambourine very well. I chose them because I can't play complicated things like guitars and pianos. lol

I used to play guitar and bass but screwed my elbows up five or six years ago and haven't really done anything since. I tried to pick up a guitar a few times but I just couldn't put my fingers in the right places any more. sad

Used to play the tenor saxophone but gave it up cos I couldnt stand the arrogant tosser teacher.........wish id kept it up thou :cry:

I have the most beautiful 12 string accoustic.
And Reese has a fretless bass g, and much percussion.
Oh, I am a lapsed 'cellist. It's an MS thing. We play 'cello - we get ill. (Think Jacqueline DuPrez lol

I can play the saxophone, decided on that one because when I was a teenager I thought they sounded sexy and were cool...........

I'm a dab hand with the comb and paper. I've spent years perfecting "twanging" elastic bands, experimenting with different sizes and tensions.

I sing, play guitar (electric and acoustic), bass, and drums, mainly in the rock/metal stylee. I started off playing the recorder, then wanted to be a drummer when I heard Ringo Starr redface

(I was really into The Beatles as a kid), played for 4 years, then after hearing Joe Satriani and Steve Vai play guitar, I was in complete awe and decided to learn the guitar, and have been playing ever since. Started singing in my last band :karaoke: .

I play the guitar relatuvely well and I have a good so=inging voice too.
Started on the guitar as part of a church worhip group ( hence the singing) and then went on to play at campfires etc for the scout association.
I would love to play the violin and the piano though

wouldnt call myself a musician but I DJ club music... does that count? smile

Â£1200 on a guitar!!! saying that though Ive spent over Â£1500 on my DJ setup. Guess if you take your hobby serious you gotta buy the best.
