I've just been thinking
As I've looked round the forum over the past couple of days, I've seen quite a few posts regarding New Year's Eve, and the problems associated with it.
Ordinary pubs having a door charge
Over priced drinks
Sardine conditions in pubs
Weather (pub crawl)
Taxis - availability and cost
Etc
Etc
Inspired also by the "vanilla versus swinging social scene" type thread that's running somewhere - a thought flitted across my moshed up mind.
"Why don't we have a New Year's Eve Munch" ???
ONNew Year's Eve
I appreciate the "family/kids/babysitter" aspect of problems.
Bit bluddy late to suggest it now Dammie :giggle:
I think thats a great idea.
Ok not all could come but i think a lot would.

Oi! Nutter!
Sounds like a great idea
actually, yes  both of them
Assuming we're talking about 07 and that the venue is in the area(ish) of Darkfire. Then main problem for us would be the weather for traveling, we could probably get a cheap Travellinn room somewhere on the motorway, using the car is not a problem for us. Or could offer taxi service in exchange for floor space!

When you said you knew of a venue, thought it was in your locality. Cos after all if its in say Cornwall then its a no-go for us.
