I think it may have been a repeat but did anyone see the 'My 100,000 Lovers' documentry on C5 last night?
I felt uneasy watching it, all three people featured in it had quite a sad story to of them fitted the notion of being liberated people who just enjoyed being sexual with lots of other liberated people.
I couldn't see my own feelings about my own sexuality and multiple partners in it but ,as ever, TV people want the most extreme of extremes for programmes like this do they not?

I think sleeping with over 100,000 people is actually a cry for help. These people are yearning to be loved and in the process are actually confusing sex with love. 
I've looked into this quite a bit as I'm really interested in working in the field of sex therapy and counselling and you'd be amazed how much a powerful tool sex can be. People who are addicted to sex are sometimes addicted to the contact the sex brings and not actually the physical motions.

No Martin, it was one of them who estimated that she had had sex with about 100,000 partners based on the fact that she'd worked in the sex industry for quite a few years and had up to 15 clients a day back then.
I agree even so that her estimated total seemed on the over-high 'd have had over 100 sexual episodes a week but surely some of those would be men who visited her more than once?
A staggering figure though whatever but not connected to sex as a sharing, joyful act.I agree with Jaymar, hers was like a compulsive illness.

They were, in effect, glorifying the oldest trade know to desperate man!!!
Even at 100 punters a week thats over 25 years to get to the 100,000 mark taking in to account cycle weeks when I would presume they wouldn't work - or would they???? euiwwwwwww, the thought!
