Morning all.
Not very happy today...my fave toy is dying after 4 years of many, many, many, many......hours of fun.I have hunted all over for a replacement, but alas cannot find the same make of toy.
Just wondering is there anyone out there who has suffered the same loss and how do you overcome it.
(Bit ott, but what the hell lol

The battery compartments of toys often suffer from corrosion after a few years, sometimes because flat batteries have been left in them.
Its often possible, after removing old batteries, to clean up the contacts using a nail file or a brillo pad. Then a quick squirt of WD40, new batteries and away you go !!!

Im gonna be facing the same as you sometime soon as my fave toy is on its last legs sad

some of the buttons have fell off and it sounds like a petrol driven lawnmower!!
But im sure ill manage to find a replacement,anything has gotta be better than the noise mine makes,i have to make sure half the street have gone out before i use it lol

Totally agree! We have a similar type of thing (check out our pix on the profile) which Mrs SW loves taking for a gallop around the bedroom. An amazing invention that saves a fortune on AA rabbit batteries. Just make sure you have got thick walls or deaf neighbours!
