I am new to this lifestyle.
Have met many like-minded people already.
Very mixed emotions at the moment.
Excited and nervous all at the same time.
Partner and I have our first play next week with another couple.
Will give parties and/or clubs a miss for the moment.
We just want to tread gently at first!
Any advice and/or experiences for a first timer would be very welcome.

A koeksuster or koeksister is a South African syrup-coated doughnut in a twisted or braided shape (like a plait). They are prepared by deep-frying in oil then dipping into cold sugar syrup.

And yes Mike you are correct. That is exactly what a koeksuster is.
If you ever get the chance you should try them. They are simply delicious. No pun intended! LOL
PS: I have been likened to one of these do'nuts as my syrup is sweet to the taste, hence my username.

Why give clubs a miss. We think they are the best way to get involved in swinging as there is absolutely no pressure to do anything and the atmosphere is very chilled.

As I mentioned on a previous thread, we tried a 'smaller' party at a private house for our first time and it worked out really well, the lovely hostess (who could see we were bricking it) introduced to a similar couple and we hit it off with them straight away and the other couples they introduced us to. Really glad we went-so don't be afraid-parties are the best!!!! :welcome:
