No she's called Stella (half choc lab/alsation) after the jolly nice Belgian phot was taken on the spur of the moment as a practice pic with my new camera.
She's cat and postal delivery friendly and she hides behind the garden fence when she gets hot.

Well, i don't mind small, weird type dogs, mongrel things that are friendly. And Dachshunds are hilarious...
As for getting jip, less than a week ago i only narrowly avoided a severe biting when i entered a garden and the owner had left the front door open, which meant his 4 alsations and a rottweiler could give me a lovely surprise as i walked up the path.... luckily i backed out just fast enough (ie light-speed in reverse) and slammed the gate as they all hit the fence and gate, snarling, barking and biting each other... could have been very nasty.
Worst bite i've ever had left 60 puncture holes in my arm. (alsation) . (and i'l pm you another story from 2 weeks ago)
