You know this might be the first thread I've ever started. While I'm being narcissistic, is my new avatar worse or better than my old one (below)? I've tried to create a montage of bits of me and my life. Left out some things I wanted to put in for the moment, I'll see how the mood takes me or if this gets shunned first. I'm not all that fond of it but it's kinda interesting.
(the old one):
I've had it suggested I should just stick my bum on there...? Also wondered about an animated one cycling round a few images.
It was time for a change anyway.
I adore your new avatar!
Bloody fantastic!
Thankyou very much Vix! Appreciated.
Of course I spent wayyyy too much time making it (a good half-hour this evening hunting through my pics for appropriate bits and resizing, copying and pasting...).
It's rather abstract-cubist. That's a harsh mix, but it's different. And, like Radio 2, different... works.
As someone who does not have an avatar I say fair play to you for you efforts.
The problem is - although the image is indeed very artistic in a cubist sort of way - I for one have no idea what the individual pics. actually represent!!!
A case of I dont know about art but I know what I like?
It's good breezer. Very original and good use of colour. Well done that man!
Its really good Breezer..... shows that you have really put some thought into it and are letting people have an insight into yr mind.........

Nice avatar Breezer, very arty, but is that a piece of mesh i see in the middle??? And where are your famous red-pants!!!!! I demand to know!
Yea as it happens I like it Breezer
now I've got you down as having an action shot in there, along with an eye, some clouds a bit of mesh and a car headlight. Plus somew other bits that I can't make out.
still adds up to something that looks o.k. in a quirky kinda way.
I like it as well, Breezer. A sterling effort and I don't think anyone can accuse you of plagiarism.
I confess to knowing fark all about art, but I think your avatar is far better than anything that has recently won the Turner Prize. I am thinking of such "works of art" as the unmade bed, the cow in formaldehyde and not forgetting - the lights going on and off!
