New Mail Icon Missing

Is it just me, or is the red new mail icon missing that used to appear when you recieved mail/pm's ??
Either that, or nobody's actually messaging me :shock: :cry:

Ours has gone AWOL too, using Firefox on a Mac and haven't seen it for a few weeks now.
Also the adverts seem to have lost data too, when viewing an ad it used to state which section the ad was posted in and also the location and distance to that person (I think?). Now it's just the plain text of the ad.
Work in progress perhaps on the part of the site owners?

Everything you have said about the ads is visible: section, location (if they have it on their profile) and distance (if they have it on their profile)
I also use Firefox and my red flashy can be a bit hit and miss with it sometimes not flashing when I have new mail and other times it does!

I love it when it does flash though Mal.. and when you talk dirty like this ;)
Mine seems fine and I use Windows Explorer. I only discovered what a little sick-green coloured flashing mail icon meant the other day though. At least I think I've worked it out :P

If you do get new mail and the sender takes a look at it, just to see what they sent; the system can consider it read and you get no alert.
Check your mail box when you log on. I still do not get mail, but ever hopeful.
