Hello everyone i know this is not a sex related thread but....
Nintendo DS is bloody brilliant. I would sugest the the parents amoungst us do not disclose this information to kids.
It reminds me of the fist time i played NES and Spectrum in 1980s
I have been playing last 24 hrs and it is amazing...........
Oh well at least my jorneys to munchs will not be bored now.
a young MikeC
Sod the kids, I'm getting one myself... biggrin
pffff... DS  you really want a PSP tbh
whats a nintendo aww you guys
DS - my mate had been waiting for them to come out. I'm not really a console-buyer myself, but had to go with him to our closest Game which was doing a midnight-opening thing for those who had to have them. Not done anything that insane for a while so we thought sod it - neither of us had to get up early.
Played Wario-ware in the shop - fun but limited lifespan I suspect (no fulfillment for each game 'cos the minigames are so short - funny, but lacking substance); their Zookeeper (a clear-the-blocks style puzzle game, Bejewelled (Palm) fans will like it) game is pretty cool and addictive.
Greaet little device - slightly too large to really be a pocket-size portable console like the gameboy is, but a decent size jacket pocket would suffice. Nice (stereo) sound, microphone, wireless for multiplayer, touch-screen, and of course the DS (="Dual Screen" for those not taking an interest) of the name.

Oooh, that's fighting talk, that is... lol
Had a DS since before christmas ,would agree with most of the comments although the games that I have are pretty simple to complete and have limited enjoyment after that .
I wouldnt advise buying a PSP straight away ,they will come down in price rather rapidly .
Should anybody require one rapidly or my DS and games let me know

I got my nintendo a month ago from the States. I've been hooked on it since, its AMAZING, the Dual screen feature is out of this world. Let's hope PSP has something good to offer too!!!
Nah. Sony as usual have tried to make the PSP a jack of all trades, so it'll end up being a master of none. That's why I like Nintendo. Their consoles have always been pure gaming machines. Let's face it, most people with a PS2 or Xbox will have a DVD player and/or stereo already, both of which will already offer superior quality/features compared to the consoles.
What then is the point of wasting development time and money implementing DVD/CD playback that could be better put to use developing innovative gaming features?
Nintendo do one thing and they do it brilliantly. Besides, all Sony do is nick Nintendo's ideas anyway. The original pre-analog PSone controller was almost a direct copy of the SNES controller, all they did was add 2 extra shoulder buttons. Then, when the N64 came out and Ninty introduced the world to analog controllers and force feedback, Sony brought out the Dual Shock controller with OMG surprised *2* analog sticks and built in force feedback.
I'm amazed that Sony even think they stand a chance against the big N. Nintendo's handhelds have beaten off machines that on paper, should have destroyed them. In practise, however, Ninty just knows the handheld market better.
I guess Nintendo would be superior due to the touch screen, but the DS is one ugly looking console. It actually puts you off buying handheld consoles, but as soon as you switch it on and you see the graphics it makes you forget of its looks.
Yeah, but it looks better than the 'rear view mirror ripped from a Mazda' looks of the PSP.
