Support Centre?
Will I be able to book an appointment with a friendly 'aunty' type personfor a nice chat and a cup od tea?
An opportunity to get some things off my chest.
Like the dreadful night sweats and anxiety felt issues of intimate personal grooming and fear of intimacy?

Great addition to site. What about an area/region search aswell as the distance from post code search. That would be good if you travel frequently to places around the country.

If you alter the postcode top right corner, you should get the results you want for that area.
Fair enough, but what if you don't know the exact area or postcode well enough?
I use a jobs website and you can narrow searches by area on that like North West, North East etc. It works.
I am loving the new search tool, I never knew my entire village were swingers until i did a radius search lol. Fantastic, I love it.
Great work guys, well done keep it up

Apologies if this is duplicating another thread - but I couldn't spot one.
Overall, I like it. Having a thumbnail where posted also makes it quicker to scan through profiles which appeal, without having to click on each one in turn.
However, the sort by most recent login appears to do nothing, I get people who are are on line now, interspersed with people who haven't logged on for days. This makes it pretty useless as far as I'm concerned until this is resolved

Sorted.

Well done :P I used to delete them most of the time by mistake when ever I tried to merge threads  confused
If I got it the wrong way round DG would have been after me! lol and been smackbottom
cheers for that
So has anyone else noticed that the sort by most recent login doesn't work?
Just a couple of things I have noticed:
1. The recently online function does not seem to be ordered, ie sometimes you have to scroll down the list in oreer to see the "people online now" message.
2. The evil weed. Any chance of being able to search for unhealthy smoker? :grin

You can - just tick advanced search
Have to say I found the old search programme much quicker to use.
The new one could be improved if there was an option to save particular search settings. Having to re enter all of the preferences and search criteria at the start of every search is a pain.
not liking this new search, liked the old photo ad search alot better
Can you explain why, I havent noticed much of a change.
smickey, I'm going to merge your thread into one that has been running about the new Search.
I know Admin keep an eye on that thread for all members to have their say so it makes sense for the two threads to be running together.
Edit: now merged... phew! It's the one bit of this modding malarkey that scares me! redface
can anyone else get to grips ( rolleyes ) with the new search ???
the restrictions are too severe,,,, you have to be VERY specific in which 'group' you are searching...
> and as for filtering 'by Distance' .. what a joke.. mine turned up page 1 of 106 (!). why in the furthest away shown first ??
Surly logically you want to see the Closest first (were not that shy are we??)
.. is there no way of modifying this search, other than starting all over again ??
thoughts....
On the results page - I think you can order the results by distance. Its in the top right hand smile

I've moved you into the previous thread about the new search. You might be able to pick up some tips from the other posts, but remember that the "new search" is still being honed so anything you find wrong could be fixed later on ;-)

Save search option has just been added, please give it a try and let us know what you think. Next week the mailing part will be added to let you know if new matches etc..

the new search app. is spot on. A massive thankyou
I like the new search thingy!!
So much fun.
.
I like the new search too........but it still isn't working properly. The order results by function isn't working so it's not possible to view adverts in chronological order.
