So I understand its so you can search on photos by distance from you as well as various other things, wouldnt it be better to improve the search engine on here first as I wouldnt want to search someone just by pictures, I can see them when I look on profiles.

So no-one else will be tagging yours if you have already done it!
They are only asking you to help out with the pics of members who rarely log in and to help the site, you know, like give a little back? If you don't wish to do anyone elses, that's fine, just leave them and carry on using the site as you have been previously and let those who are prepared to help, help.
The search engine is being improved, but it wont be launched until later in the year. It will only be as accurate as the information it can search on, hence the request (not an order) for people to help gather this information.

I agree a relevant search that includes or is based on what images are available is needed - but a subjective judgment on quality (be it subject or image quality) is wholly inappropriate. The people making these value judgments are not monitored, guided or even asked to justify their judgments and - as far as I have understood - their input is entirely anonymous. Validation is bad enough - anonymous validation (by any other name) is unacceptable.
If admin want to have everyone put their images in private galleries so no-one gets to see them without an invite, they have done exactly the right thing.
I have never cared who looked at my pictures - I have none in private galleries, but I will be spending the night working out how to put them in a private gallery. I also wish to be informed how to remove the tags that are already on them. Or is being the public subject of other people's anonymous judgments mandatory now?
Frankly the more I think about this, the angrier I get.

For one I would like the system to be sorted so the pictures collectors can not download any pictures from the site for a start.
And I have tagged some of the pictures on our soul_girl accounts, then went onto our soul_boy account and viewed the pictures on soul_girl account and I could tag them again through soul_boy account.
I think our pictures will be staying in private for now.

Ok, having trawled through some of the hundreds of posts on this I found a comment about tagging yourself stops anyone else doing it? I may have interpreted that wrongly.

The thing i dont understand is this, why are admin encouraging picture collectors and timewasters on the site?
The reason i say this is because i always thought this was a swinging site, a site were people could find like minded people to enjoy consenting adult fun. Not a site where you come to browse amature porn.
Like someone on here has already commented pics are far to easily taken from the site, making it a picture collectors paradise, and now we want to catagorise each and every picture so that they can search and find what they want even more easily!
If anything we need a better profile search not a photo search. Firstly adding a logged in this week/fortnight/month so that we only bring up active members when searching. Also improving the search so it only gives the searcher results that they are compatable to...

Fine, but give us the option to prevent our photos from being tagged, as I see it we have 2 options:
1) Tag the photos ourselves.
2) Let others tag the photos
Option 3 appears to be missing (just like admin appear to be missing from this thread now) which is :

My one and only public photo is on page 281 of the galleries... in the female section. I waded through all of those pages to attempt to tag my own photo.
Am I able to? No. There is no option available to me to tag my own photo. I can however, tag the lady beside me on that very same page.

We made comments on this subject but they have been removed, why? We made comment that the pictures can still be tagged by someone else even if you have tagged them because as we have two accounts on here we tried it.
I have since gone back into our accounts to try and tag all the photos and it wont let me do any of them. So can someone in admin please remove the tags that have been put on our photos allowing us to do it ourselves, when the option to tag them in private is available.
As a paying customer of the site, I would like someone to explain to us why the comments were removed and why wasnt the whole issue locked and the photo tagging put on hold until it is sorted correctly.

Just to note... if you have photos attached to any adverts, regardless of whether or not they've now been moved into your private album, they can still be tagged.

972,735 members at present. What proportion of the members who have actually logged in in the last 12 months are looking for anything other than fantasy and a quick peek at amateur porn? I would hazard a guess that it is very small.

What's the point of it? It appears to be a random selection of images with no way to progress to someone's profile or message the person if I were to find them interesting.

I had no idea that the pictures I'd uploaded to my profile were automatically inserted into the gallery, I assumed (wrongly) that you chose to use that part of the site, just as you choose to use the ads section or the forums or the chatrooms and that people had to be a member to view my pics.

Just wanted to clarify, privacy is an issue for me as i'm sure it is to all those on the site, but that i knew what i was signing into. I run as much risk from people, full members, copying my photos and placing where they fancy around the net as i do from complete strangers/non members.
Short of having either no photos or placing them all in my private album there is no way to get away from that, i've never been aware of it being any different on here.
