Well, we're into Feb and most new years resolutions have fallen by the wayside....Or have they?
My giving up the booze for a month lasted 3 weeks but my Sword Fencing lessons are still in full swing (pun intended)
Anyone out there still manageing to keep theirs?
Harry
Nope.....
Mine was to not drink Wine n Vodka together(not in same drink but in same nite) and i haven't done it
lol
I said I was going to give up smoking but I haven't managed it.... I am trying to loose weight at the same time though which in retrospect is a little silly lol
I am now concentrating on the weight loss and will come back to the smoking when I am back down to my ideal weight biggrin

I decided to give up making resolutions for New Year and so far I've stuck to it.
I've yet to start mine, but they're easy ones that won't take more than a few weeks biggrin
Smart me :smug:
I didnt make any because I dont have any bad habbits

Shireen,
Ever thought of taking up Sword Fencing, the weight will drop off, it has for me ;-)

I can vouch for fencing as an amazing way to lose weight and it gives you amazing thighs and a very pert bum. Most martial arts classes will do the same bt I do love the swordplay.
Well mine was to lose some weight and to become generally healthier, and so far I am sticking to it (apart from the odd vodka or three).
Went for a long brisk walk this afternoon and was out for just over three hours, did some gardening this morning, had a fantastic evening meal (all healthy stuff) and have lost 8lbs in three weeks lol
Urban dancing classes have the same weight loss effect, plus they help me learn how to dance, doing 2 resolutions at once. All I need now is to learn how to ride a motorbike and i'm all set biggrin
I don't think I've ever made a New year's resolution. I have absolutely no willpower so would be setting myself up for a fall. I do go through phases of getting a bit fed up with being "stocky" and train a bit harder. (I study mixed martial arts) but I wish to God I'd never started smoking. Didn't start till I was 25. I really want to stop before my birthday in April so if anyone's managed it sucessfully I'd appreciate any advice/reccomendations.
