newbie socials

Yep count us in as newbies.....we missed the last munch so we are looking forward to what ever comes next.

the idea is basically a few of regualrs and a bunch of newbies in a social setting.... pub/meal/bowling ect... but get an even mix of single men, women, and couples......I was thinking of a small groups for example no more than 20-25 people.. large enough that people can mix, but small enough, that people won't feel intimadated...and if they have any questions they can ask the regulars in regards to the forums/the new chatrooms/munches ect.....
obviously it is a work in progress... :) :) there many be things i haven't thought of that people would like the contribute on......all input would be greatfully received....
would enough regulars want to help???
would enough newbies want to take part????

Most interest thus far seems to be 'up norf' so I wont rush into owt - but, in the meantime (wait for it.......) Well we already have a S.H social up and running in Derby/Notts, we are now meeting once a month, i admit there was only 14 of at the first one but i know for a fact the numbers have shot right up for the next one. There will be a thread put out for the next social which is happening this month so look out for it as all are welcome :twisted: :twisted:

If anyone is interested I'm doing a social in Burton on Trent Saturday 15th April 2006
Purely a social but with munch style rules because I was unable to get a room which fits the munch guidelines with only a month to go rolleyes

I would love to encourage more newbies into becoming part of SwinginHeaven.
