Do you not remember earlier this year there was a "what bits of Facebook do you like?" thread. I'm guessing that people said they liked the newsfeed which is why we now have one...

EDIT: Actually the friends I did have have suddenly disappeared so that saved me the trouble... another hiccup?

Yep, I don't disagree. Just reading this thread reminded me of the one earlier in the year. I am guessing the good folk at SH Towers adopted some of the more popular Facebook style features. Like it or loathe it, Facebook has become a 'net phenomenon; I'm not surprised this and other sites are now trying to emulate some of its features.
